Modern Custom Home in Gold Canyon, Arizona designed by SpaceLineDesign Architects.

This 3,000 sf contemporary home is notched into the rocky ridgeline overlookng the 'forever wild' Superstition Mountains and the rugged untamed desert.

Placed snugly on the steeply sloping site, reached by a 1200' long twisty steep driveway (up to 24% grade) up to the house, sitting 1500' high above the neighbors below, while shrouded to the north with panoramic views of the Superstition Mountains.

Prime facade profile is all curves and radius corners to mitigate the sound of blowing wind, which is a nearly constant force blowing up along this high ridgeline. Prime facade space is limited on a mountain hugging home, so here we arranged the compact floor plan to hug along the bow of the mountain topography to capture many different angles of the expansive panoramic views.
